A large thatched cottage of 207 m² in the heart of Normandy in Calvados, offering 5 comfortable bedrooms (sleeping 10 to 13) with 3 bathrooms. It's the ideal place to welcome family and friends in an authentic, friendly setting. A comfortable living room with large sofas and a stove for evenings by the fire. A spacious, well-equipped kitchen for entertaining large groups.

1. Master bedroom
To the east of the thatched cottage is the largest double bedroom in the house. With its high ceilings and exposed roof timbers, it offers plenty of space. This bedroom has plenty of storage space, a small desk and a wardrobe.

2. Blue room
This double bedroom, located on the west side of the house, offers comfort and tranquillity with lovely views over the garden. It has a bathroom with shower and washbasin, as well as a wardrobe and storage space.

3. Dormitory room
This large bedroom has a double bed and two twin beds, making it ideal for several children. There is plenty of storage space, and an adjoining bathroom completes the room's comfort.

4. Garden level bedroom
Ground-floor bedroom with access to an adjoining bathroom (shower and toilet). With its stone walls and half-timbering, this room retains all the charm of the past. Particularly practical for the elderly or those who prefer to avoid the stairs. Storage space and wardrobe available.

5. Landing bedroom
This atypical bedroom, located on the landing between the blue bedroom and the corridor leading to the dormitory and master suite, stands out for its modularity. Equipped with a Poltronesofà sofa-bed (160×200) and an armchair-bed (80 cm), it offers up to 3 very comfortable beds that fold out easily. Although it is not a closed bedroom, a folding screen is available to create a more intimate space and preserve everyone's peace and quiet.

One night at the gîte
Because sleep is essential to a successful stay, we have paid particular attention to the comfort of our rooms. Linen sheets, thick duvets, Emma mattresses and slatted bases - all the ingredients for a peaceful night's sleep. The windows are fitted with blackout curtains, and the house, nestling on the edge of the forest, guarantees absolute peace and quiet, so you can wake up to the sound of birdsong and a truly restorative night's sleep.
Garden & Pool
With an area of 7,000 m², the garden is a veritable showcase of greenery. Hundred-year-old trees and large expanses of lawn provide both shady spots and ample space for outdoor games. It is also possible to set up a tent here for a wedding or small reception for up to 50 people. The swimming pool area, surrounded by a flint wall, has a 4 x 10 m pool that's perfect for cooling off. Deckchairs, sun loungers, wooden tables and string lights create a convivial atmosphere for enjoying this corner of nature to the full.
Space & peace
For the duration of your stay, the whole place is yours: the two houses, the garden, the swimming pool and the facilities. The hedges and trees surrounding the property preserve the peace and privacy of the estate. We live nearby, so if you have any questions or technical problems, we'll be on hand quickly. The rest of the time, you're free to enjoy the place.
