Here is a list of the most frequently asked questions to help you prepare for your stay.
Are sheets and towels provided?
Bed linen and towels are included. However, please bring your own pool towels.
What time can we arrive/depart?
Check-in time is from 5pm on the day of arrival.
Check-out time is 11am on the day of departure.Are pets welcome?
Cats and dogs are welcome! We welcome them with pleasure, with a basket and bowls available. Please allow €30 per pet per stay. Please let us know when you book (if you are bringing one or more pets).
Category 1 and 2 dogs are not accepted.
We ourselves have an adorable 5-year-old border-collie, Pitt.Do you have facilities for babies/toddlers?
Each of our gîtes is equipped with a cot, a high chair, toys and games such as Kapla / Puzzle and crockery suitable for babies (plate, bowl, cutlery and cup in natural silicone as well as a bib).
Are parties allowed?
Parties are permitted for people staying on site. Maximum :
- 11 people at the Maisons Pommes gîte,
- 13 people at Les 3 Fresnes gîte
- 24 people if the two gîtes are rented together.In the event of extra people, please let us know before booking.
Thank you for looking after the wellbeing of our neighbours by continuing your evenings inside the houses from 11 p.m. (music inside).
For weddings and large family gatherings (50 guests max), please ask us for an additional quote for your reception, which is a different service from the simple rental of our gîtes. An event tent (without parquet flooring) can be hired for a fixed fee of €500 (including set-up and dismantling).
Are there any opening times for the pool?
You can enjoy the pool as you wish. However, as for parties, from 11pm onwards you are asked to keep noise to a minimum and not to play any music outside.
When is the pool open / heated?
The swimming pool is open and heated from mid-May to mid-September.

Is the garden enclosed?
The gardens of the gîtes, respectively 3000m2 at Les Maisons Pommes and 6000m2 at Les 3 Fresnes
are fully fenced and access can be closed by gates.Is there a car park?
Each of the gîtes has its own car park.
The Maisons Pommes gîte car park has space for 5 cars.
The Les 3 Fresnes gîte car park can also accommodate 5 cars. If you need vehicles
can be parked between the trees along the driveway leading to the gîte.It is forbidden to park on the garden lawns.
How do I get my keys back?
The keys are handed over to you at check-in. We will welcome you in person to show you around the house and its facilities, and answer any questions you may have about the house or your stay. The keys are also handed over with us at check-out, where we take a look around together before handing over your deposit.
Which is the nearest supermarket?
The nearest shop is 1 km from the gîte, within walking distance: La Pizza d'Ablon. You'll also find a bar and a pizzeria.
The cheapest supermarket is the Aldi de la Rivière St Sauveur.
Le Leclerc in Honfleur is the most comprehensive supermarket (drive-through delivery to the gîte, etc.).

What type of coffee maker?
There are two types of coffee machine in each of the gîtes: a Nespresso coffee machine using capsules and a filter coffee maker with ground coffee.
There is also a kettle in each of the gîtes.
How many people can the dining table seat?
The kitchen/dining room table in the Maisons Pommes gîte can seat up to 12 people.
The dining room tables at Les 3 Fresnes can seat up to 24 people.

Yes, the board games available are Code Name, Loup Garou, 6 qui prend, SkyJo, Dominos, Mikado and card games.
What happens in the event of damage?
You've had a good stay, but you've made a few messes? No problem. If we booked directly with you, we will assess the damage together and deduct the amount from your deposit. If we booked via a platform, we use the dispute resolution centre of these platforms (Airbnb, Abritel/homeaway, Booking).
Are you close to the gîte?
We live on the plots next to the gîte and are available if you have any questions or need help during your stay.
Can I invite guests in addition to those staying on site?
If you would like to invite extra guests for lunch or dinner, or if you would like to invite guests for an event, please let us know in advance. Depending on the number of people you wish to invite, we will be able to offer you a supplement.
What to do in the event of an illness emergency
A first-aid / first-aid kit is available in each gîte.
In the event of a medical emergency requiring the assistance of a health professional, contact the emergency number 15

Where is the nearest vet?
The nearest vet is Mrs Joly. Ask us for her contact details. She looks after our dog Pitt. People living in England who need a re-entry visa for their pet can also contact her.
